Agreement and eligibility
By creating a Silora account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract where you live. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account was accessed without permission.
Silora is operated from Canada. If you access the service from another country, you are responsible for complying with local laws. Availability may vary by region.
Description of Silora
Silora analyzes clothing photos and information you provide (such as body-profile quiz answers) to generate automated fit and styling-related suggestions.
Results are informational and subjective. Silora does not guarantee that every garment classification, score, or recommendation is correct. Silora is not medical, health, psychological, or professional styling advice. You remain responsible for your own purchasing and styling decisions.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account, except where a problem results from Silora’s failure to maintain reasonable security safeguards.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, create security risk, or misuse the service. You may request account deletion through account settings when that feature is available, or by contacting support.
Uploaded content
“User content” includes photos, quiz responses, body-profile information, feedback, and other material you submit.
Upload only photos you have permission to submit. For the MVP, upload photos of yourself or subjects who have given you permission. Do not upload illegal content, harassing content, content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights, or content intended to attack or reverse-engineer the service.
You retain ownership of your user content. You grant Silora a limited licence to host, process, store, display results to you, and use your content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service. Silora does not claim ownership of your photos.
Unless we tell you otherwise in the Privacy Policy, Silora does not use your photos to train its own models in the MVP.
Automated results and limitations
Analysis quality depends on photo angle, lighting, pose, clothing obstruction, and image quality. Recommendations involve judgment and may be incomplete or incorrect.
Silora does not evaluate your worth, attractiveness, or identity. Do not rely on Silora as the sole basis for important decisions.
Subscriptions and billing
Silora offers a Free tier and a paid Basic membership.
Basic is billed at **$3.99 per month** (plus applicable taxes). Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. The displayed price is for information; Stripe is the billing authority at checkout.
You may cancel anytime through **Membership → Manage billing** (Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Paid access continues until that date; premium sections lock afterward. Core results you already received may remain viewable according to the product and your plan.
We may change prices or plan features with notice as required by law and these Terms. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; Silora does not store full payment card numbers.
Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where Silora confirms otherwise in writing. Contact support if you believe a charge was made in error.
Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape or automate access without permission, bypass membership limits, use unauthorized APIs, interfere with service security, commit payment fraud, or resell analyses without permission.
Intellectual property
Silora owns its brand, interface, code, templates, and proprietary methodology. You receive a limited personal right to use your own analysis results. We may use feedback you voluntarily provide to improve the service.
Third-party services
Silora relies on providers such as Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), and hosting/email infrastructure. Their terms may also apply to your use of those services.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Silora at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material misuse, legal requirements, or security reasons. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel billing before or when deleting your account so charges do not continue.
Sections that by nature should survive termination (including limitations of liability, disclaimers, and governing law) continue to apply.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Silora disclaims warranties not required by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Silora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for purchasing decisions you make based on automated results. Silora’s total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid Silora in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty Canadian dollars, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your province or territory.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Material changes may require you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use certain features.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the service and request account deletion.
